Maintenance Worker Jobs in Haven, KS at Team Employment Hutchinson
2nd and 3rd shift
$20/hr. starting wage + shift differential
This position will assist in the activities of maintenance, repairs, and installation of all items of general makeup using two or more technical maintenance skills in compliance with applicable codes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain required repair logs on all equipment maintained per federal, state, and company requirements.
2. Make use of a pro-active approach to problem resolution by using preventative maintenance techniques.
3. Drive and maintain forklifts, man lifts, and pick-ups.
4. Utilize welding and cutting torch to complete projects.
5. Utilize hand tools and power tools and other special equipment to complete projects.
6. Assist in the installation and maintenance for all buildings, grounds, and machinery.
7. Analyze down equipment and specify repair parts to be ordered.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school or GED
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willing to work additional hours to meet company and department goals.
- Preventative maintenance skills.
- Positive attitude toward fellow employees.
- Focus on teamwork.
- Safety minded.
- Mechanical ability.
- Some knowledge of electricity, specially 480 volt and 110 volt.
- 3-5 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of equipment.
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
