Position Summary
The Marine Fiberglass & Auto Body Technician is responsible for repairing, restoring, andrefinishing fiberglass boats and marine components. This position is ideal for someonewith automotive body shop, RV repair, collision repair, or fiberglass repair experience whois interested in working on high-quality boats and marine products.
Responsibilities
- Perform fiberglass repairs on boats, hulls, decks, and marine components
- Repair cosmetic and structural damage
- Sand, prep, fill, plastic welding, and finish fiberglass surfaces
- Knowledgeable on working with fillers, ambient temp and cure times
- Perform gelcoat repairs and color matching
- Prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing
- Complete bodywork and restoration projects to high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
- Work closely with service technicians and management to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience in auto body repair, collision repair, RV repair, fiberglass repair, or relatedfield
- Ability to sand, prep, mask, and finish surfaces
- Experience with fillers, bodywork, and refinishing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Marine experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the rightcandidate

Pay
$25.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Full-time
- Overtime available as needed
