Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into signs. , ensuring they meet strict quality standards and project specifications. Your expertise in various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes will be essential to delivering top-quality products efficiently. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), spool mate 150 aluminum attachment-
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated parts.
- Conduct fabrication tasks involving sheet metal work, paint prep, Etc
- Utilize forklift for material handling
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to construction site experience, welding standards, and equipment operation.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities working with metal fabrication processes.
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; familiarity with <LOCATION> welding preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, forklifts, and machining equipment.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication practices.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, pipe threading, soldering, assembly, and ductwork fabrication.
