In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting milk from our farms to processing facilities using specialized trucks. Part time paying more per hour but no other benefits provided for part time. Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, to safely transport our multi axle tankers
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling and cleaning methods
- Drive route schedules confidently, adhering to delivery timelines and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and route records for tracking purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and milk plant employees.
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving, vehicle maintenance, and load handling to prevent accidents or damage.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-A ) with a clean driving record.
- Also we require you to speak and write English
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks.
- Prior truck driving or delivery driver experience in a commercial setting is essential.
- Ability to learn how to load & unload milk safe and efficient
- Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
- Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections and handle cargo loading tasks regularly. There is some manual labor involved with pickup and delivery of milk.
