Position Overview:
The Mitigation Field Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of water mitigation projects. This includes supervising field staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the completion of projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in water damage mitigation, and a deep understanding of industry best practices. The Field Supervisor is a first responder in emergency fire and water property loss situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise: Lead a team of water mitigation technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality work on every project.
- Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing questions, concerns, and providing updates throughout the mitigation process.
- On-Site Inspections: Conduct thorough property assessments to determine the scope of work and ensure mitigation procedures are followed through the project.
- Project Management : Oversee daily field operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of mitigation activities, including assessments, estimates, and final reports.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations are followed to ensure the safety of staff and clients.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to field technicians and ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks effectively.
- Equipment & Resource Management: Ensure that all necessary equipment is available and properly maintained for each project.
- Demolition: Oversee and assist with selective demolition tasks such as drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and non-structural elements as needed to facilitate drying and mitigation
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in mitigation or disaster restoration, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- IICRC Certification (WRT) required
- IICRC Certifications (ASD, FSRT, AMRT) preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively solve problems.
- Strong knowledge of water damage mitigation processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in a variety of environments.
