Job Description
Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division! The role involves traveling to members’ locations within the Esher cluster and using mobile equipment to perform routine servicing, advanced diagnostics, in‑depth repairs, member advice, and vehicle safety checks. The schedule is pre‑booked each day, with no emergency call‑outs.
Responsibilities
- Follow a clear digital schedule for appointments.
- Perform routine servicing and advanced diagnostics using mobile equipment.
- Carry out in‑depth repairs typically completed in a workshop.
- Provide member advice and recommendations.
- Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.
Qualifications
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
