Multi Drop Delivery & Assembly Driver Jobs in Cheddleton at Charles Taylor Trading Ltd
Drivers required delivering and assembling garden furniture for the UKs largest wooden garden furniture manufacture.
You will be part of a team providing a first class service to members of the public and retail stockists.
Successful applicants will have a full UK licence and at least 2 years driving experience (ideally experience in driving 3.5t box vans) and no more than 6 points on their licence. They will have good organisation skills , excellent customer service and need to be honest and reliable.
Deliveries are nationwide and completeed by one person , drivers are required to complete vehicle checks , manually unload and carry the items into the customers garden and assemble.
Deliveries take place 7 days a week rain or shine with drivers typically working day on day off on a rolling rota. Days negotioable.
Early starts are essential to ensure the first delivery of the can commence at 7am. On an average route there are 12-15 drops.
Full training is provided.
Current rates are £120-£240 per delivery route. Work is seasonal, however good drivers will be kept on over the quieter months.
