Early Years Practitioner – Sonning Common / Caversham, Berkshire RG4
Salary: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour | Up to £30,160 per year (depending on experience, qualifications, and age)
Hours: 40 hours | 4 or 5 days | Shifts between 8am–6pm
Contract: Permanent, all year round (49-week contract with 5 weeks annual leave)

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and independent nursery team near Sonning Common / Caversham, Berkshire RG4. You will be working in a purpose-built setting supporting children aged 3 months to 5 years, helping them grow, explore, and thrive through play-based learning in a nurturing environment.
Our nursery offers spacious outdoor play areas and a strong focus on school readiness, creativity, and building positive relationships with families. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner looking for a new challenge or a newly qualified practitioner ready to begin their early years career in a supportive team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality childcare and early years education
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
- Share children’s progress with families and build strong partnerships
- Follow EYFS framework in all daily practice
About You
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
- Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar role
- Strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practice
- Excellent communication skills with parents and carers
- Passionate about supporting children’s development
- Eligible to work in the UK
