Nursery Modern Apprentice – Full Time (4 day week) Jobs in Falkland at Smart Cookies Childcare
Smart Cookies Nursery is a happy, family run business in FALKLAND. We look after children from babies to school age. We have friendly staff, great children and supportive parents.
Staff work a 4 day week, Mon to Fri, from 8am to 6 pm, (occasionally 3 days and 2 half days).
We are looking for someone who finds spending time with children interesting and enjoyable and believes that this is the career they wish to train for. You may have already completed a qualification, at a lower level, at school or college and this would be an advantage.
We will pay for your PVG membership and SSSC registration.
QUALIFICATION YOU WILL GAIN
You will undertake an SVQ3 in Social Care (Children and Young People). Currently we are able to secure funding to support both under and over 25’s to complete the SVQ3 qualification. The qualification will take you between 12 and 23 months. During your time as an apprentice you will spend time with children of all ages (up to starting school age) and once qualified you will be able to work in both private and council settings as an Early Years Practitioner.
