About the Role:
As Nursery Room Leader, you’ll work closely with the Nursery Management team to help to contribute to providing a warm, nurturing environment in which our children can grow and learn. You will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safety are maintained, while also supporting and mentoring staff to deliver excellent early years practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Nursery Management team in the effective daily operation of the setting.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards.
- Lead by example, modelling excellent early years practice and supporting staff development.
- Contribute to planning, observations, and assessments to support individual children’s development.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For:
- A recognised Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years/Childcare (essential).
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities.
- A friendly, professional manner with strong communication and organisational skills.
- A team player who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development.
