Salary: £57,868.02 per annum plus bonus
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

My3 is a reputable organisation with extensive experience in delivering specialised support services for children and young people with Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We have well-established partnerships with local authorities and a strong history of achieving ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ ratings from Ofsted across our services.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join our leadership team in our Residential Child Care Homes in the Northwest. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the children and young people in our care. You will lead a team of staff, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the promotion of positive outcomes for the young residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the residential home in accordance with Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Ensure the home provides a high-quality, person-centred service to meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Supervise, support, and develop staff to maintain a positive and professional team culture.
  • Develop and implement care plans, risk assessments, and policies to safeguard young people.
  • Foster strong relationships with external agencies, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and education providers.
  • Ensure the home operates within budget and maintains financial sustainability.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, striving for outstanding care standards.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing a residential childcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with children, families, and professionals.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children and young people with ASC and/or other LD diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches.
