JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a hands-on individual with a passion for cars and a commitment to safety? We’re looking for a Tire and Oil Change Technician to join our team at the Cordell’s Automotive Service and Tire team in Tomah, Wisconsin. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our guests safe on the road by providing top-notch preventative maintenance services and excellent customer care.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Performing Preventative Maintenance: You’ll be the expert in changing oil, checking and refilling all necessary fluids, and performing comprehensive digital safety inspections.
- Tire Services: This includes rotating and replacing tires, ensuring proper inflation and balance.
- Battery and Light Checks: You’ll test and replace batteries, inspect and replace lights and wipers to keep vehicles running smoothly and safely.
- Customer Service: You’ll interact with guests, answering their questions and providing recommendations for their vehicle’s needs. Your friendly and helpful attitude will be key to building trust.
- Team Collaboration: You’ll work closely with the Service Manager and other team members, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Shop Maintenance: Keeping our workspace clean, organized, and stocked with necessary products is also part of the job, which includes physically restocking inventory.

All our team members need to meet the following requirements:
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
