Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Online Shopper to join our warehouse team. This role involves selecting and preparing products for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, experience with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within logistics and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on online orders using warehouse management systems
- Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring items are protected during transit
- Load and unload stock using appropriate handling equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as required
- Conduct quality control checks to verify product condition and order accuracy
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including processing returns and deliveries
- Handle materials safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to optimise efficiency and safety standards
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is desirable but not mandatory
- Experience with warehouse management systems or similar software is beneficial
- Knowledge of picking & packing procedures, stock management, and quality control processes is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, including load & unload tasks
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse machinery can be an asset

Pay: £24,420.00-£74,758.48 per year
