I am partnering with a well established, multi site hospitality group entering an exciting new phase of growth and brand evolution. We are looking for a commercially sharp, hands on Operations Director who thrives in fast paced environments and wants the autonomy to genuinely make their mark.

This is not a maintenance role. It is a chance to take full ownership of a multi brand estate, elevate standards, rebuild culture and drive a high impact transformation across operations, people and commercial performance.

What you will lead

Operational Leadership

  • Full accountability for the performance of every site across the estate
  • Setting and elevating operational standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Leading, coaching and developing Area Managers and General Managers
  • Using data, insight and on the ground presence to drive continuous improvement

Commercial Performance

  • Ownership of P and L, labour, margins and profitability
  • Driving sales growth, spend per head and operational efficiency
  • Partnering with Marketing on campaigns, menu launches and in venue activation

Relaunches and New Openings

  • Leading the operational delivery of relaunches, refurbishments and new site openings
  • Creating playbooks that reset teams, standards and guest experience
  • Embedding consistent, high performing operational behaviours across the estate

People and Culture

  • Building a culture of accountability, recognition and high performance
  • Developing leadership capability across all levels
  • Partnering with People and Payroll on recruitment, training and engagement

Procurement and Supply Chain

  • Overseeing procurement of food, beverage and consumables
  • Driving quality, cost efficiency and supplier performance
  • Ensuring supply chain resilience and margin optimisation

Technology and Systems

  • Owning the operational tech stack including POS, reservations, labour and stock
  • Identifying and implementing tools that enhance efficiency and guest experience

Property and Estate

  • Supporting site selection, feasibility and investment decisions
  • Managing landlord relationships, renewals and estate development

Risk and Compliance

Ensuring every site operates safely, legally and to the highest standards

Leading crisis management and regulatory relationships

Who this will suit

You are a proven multi site operator with a strong commercial brain and a passion for people. You thrive in environments where you can be visible, hands on and influential. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational reality and you love leading teams through change.

You will bring experience leading multi site operations at scale, strong P & L ownership, a track record of turnaround or relaunch, the ability to inspire and develop high performing teams, and a passion for hospitality and exceptional guest experiences.
