Alpha Wholesale is a rapidly growing HVAC distributor supplying contractors across London, the South East and beyond.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for an Operations & Logistics Manager to lead our warehouse, transport and logistics functions, ensuring we continue to deliver the exceptional service our customers expect.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, logistics and distribution activities.
You will lead the warehouse and driver teams, improve operational performance, drive efficiencies and ensure customers receive a first-class service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all warehouse, logistics and transport operations
- Manage warehouse, yard and driver teams
- Ensure stock accuracy and operational efficiency
- Develop and improve operational processes
- Drive productivity, quality and service improvements
- Manage third-party logistics providers where required
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
- Lead recruitment, training and performance management within the department
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement improvement plans
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Care and Procurement to ensure excellent customer service

- Experience managing warehouse and logistics teams
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Proven ability to improve processes and drive performance
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
- Experience within wholesale, distribution, logistics, construction products or HVAC would be advantageous

Pay: £38,500.00-£48,500.00 per year
