Optics and Control Technician Jobs in Sanford, FL at Pangolin Laser Systems, Inc.
As the Optics and Control Technician, you will perform a multiple array of tasks, relating to the day-to-day assembly of optical components. In short, you will work closely with Engineering, Production and Quality Control to enforce key quality details to maintain our high level of accuracy and precision.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to inspection of incoming optical components, testing assemblies during certain stages of manufacturing, calibration of test equipment, and working to improve systems and increase efficiency while reducing waste.
- Being a support team member and managing your work while assisting other departments.
- Coordinate with Engineering to obtain drawings of parts and assemblies to dictate tolerances.
- Inspection of incoming parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications
- Keep detailed records of orders, parts, and products configurations for traceability purposes.
- Ensuring that manufacturing procedures are followed to maintain quality standards.
