Role Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Paint Protection Film Installer, where your expertise will help elevate vehicle aesthetics and protection to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint protection films to a variety of vehicles, ensuring flawless finishes and customer satisfaction. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment that values precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of paint protection film
- Measure and cut film accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific vehicle contours
- Apply paint protection film smoothly and securely, utilizing techniques such as airless paint spraying and buffing for a flawless finish
- Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring no bubbles, wrinkles or imperfections are present
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper handling and storage of tools and materials
- Assist with auto body repair, auto painting, detailing, and auto glass installation as needed to support comprehensive vehicle care
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
Skills
- Dealership experience or background in automotive service environments preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes
- Experience with welding or auto painting techniques is advantageous
- Strong understanding of auto estimating, auto glass installation, buffing, and detailing procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy film rolls or vehicle parts
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about work performed
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto repair workflows is a plus
- Knowledge of auto mechanic experience or heavy machinery operation enhances your versatility in this role
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
