The Opportunity

An established and highly respected Independent Financial Advice (IFA) firm based in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically strong paraplanner to work closely with Financial Advisers, supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning advice to a loyal client base.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting advisers by preparing compliant, accurate, and well-structured financial reports.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Producing suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection
  • Conducting research and analysis to support financial planning recommendations
  • Preparing cashflow modelling outputs (where applicable)
  • Liaising with advisers, administrators, and product providers
  • Ensuring all documentation meets FCA compliance standards
  • Reviewing client portfolios and making recommendations for improvements
  • Supporting advisers in client meetings where required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA or wealth management firm
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection products
  • Experience writing suitability reports
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
