Join a Highly Design-Led Architecture Practice
Our client is a small, highly respected design-led architecture studio based in Central London. With a team of approximately 10 people, the practice works across residential, mixed-use, commercial, co-living and heritage projects, delivering carefully crafted architecture with a strong emphasis on contextual design, materiality and timeless quality.
Working across all RIBA stages, the studio offers a rare opportunity to gain exposure from concept through to delivery whilst working closely alongside directors and senior architects in a collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
This Position Is Ideally Suited To Either
- A design-led Part II Architectural Assistant with strong professional experience; or
- A design-led Newly Qualified Architect (Part III) with up to 2 years' post-qualification experience.
The practice is specifically seeking candidates with exceptional design sensibility and strong visual communication skills. Portfolio quality will be a key determining factor throughout the selection process.
Candidates should demonstrate a clear understanding of composition, presentation, layout, graphics and storytelling through their work. The studio is looking for individuals who are intentional in how they design, curate and present projects.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Design-led portfolio demonstrating strong architectural thinking and presentation skills
- Excellent visual communication and graphic presentation abilities
- Strong understanding of residential, mixed-use, commercial and/or heritage projects
- Experience contributing to projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Strong communication and collaborative working skills
- Genuine interest in working within a small, design-focused practice environment
- Advanced SketchUp skills
- Strong V-Ray visualisation and rendering capability
- Ability to produce high-quality architectural imagery and presentation material
- Strong understanding of Photoshop and post-production workflows
Beneficial
- Revit experience
- MicroStation experience (training can be provided)
- Understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulations
- Experience across RIBA Stages 3–4
