Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients by assisting them in identifying and sourcing the right parts for their needs. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a keen attention to detail to ensure that all parts inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers over the phone and in person, providing expert advice on parts selection and availability.
- Maintain an organised inventory of parts, ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to source parts and negotiate pricing when required.
- Utilise Excel for tracking orders, managing inventory data, and generating reports as needed.
- Assist customers in placing orders, processing returns, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have regarding their purchases.
- Ensure that all customer interactions reflect a high standard of phone etiquette and professionalism.
- Support the team by contributing to a positive work environment and collaborating on various tasks as required.
- Unloading and loading of deliveries
- Checking off stock
- Picking and packing of stock
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive or related industry is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.
