We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in the Outpatient Orthopedics setting. The ideal candidate will open to learning, being a vital part of a collaborative team, and have a positive attitude. Being in a smaller community, one must have strong interpersonal skills and possess the ability to build and maintain relationships. This job is a great opportunity for someone who would like to become part of the leading physical therapy team in all of Winn Parish and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:- Understanding and helping to implement physical therapy plans of care- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary under PT guidance- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careSkills:- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work as part of a team- Familiarity with medical terminology- Experience with both acute and chronic injuries is preferred as we see a large Direct Access population.
