Hours: 12:00 – 20:30, Monday to Friday
About Us: Our afternoon shift is where the revenue is captured. We process, sort, and manifest hundreds of collected pallets every single evening to feed the national hubs. We need a disciplined, organised PM Yard Foreperson to run our deck and lock down our facility.
The Role: Ready for a mid-day to evening leadership role where you can truly own the yard? Joining us at 12:00 PM, you will supervise afternoon warehouse procedures and prepare the deck for the evening rush. From 17:00 onwards, as our collection drivers flood back to the depot, you will lead the team checking off manifests and sorting Non-Network Consignments (NPCs). You will audit our outbound trailers for high-priority network freight, verify warehouse stock, and complete a total secure site lockup.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise afternoon cross-dock procedures and direct warehouse staff from 12:00 PM.
- Own the 17:00 manifest check-off process for returning collection vehicles.
- Physically inspect outbound hub trunks to guarantee priority freight is safely loaded.
- Conduct the final 20:00 warehouse stock check to ensure floor inventory is accurate.
- Take full keyholder responsibility for locking the yard gates, cabins, and securing all fleet keys.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven supervisory experience in logistics, transport, or pallet networks.
- Exceptional attention to detail, you don’t let mislabeled freight or paperwork errors slide.
- A responsible, trustworthy keyholder comfortable with full site lockdown duties.
- Counterbalance forklift experience is highly preferred.
