Overview:
Join our team at Whizz Kids Holiday Activity Clubs as a Lifeguard across our Shoreham and Steyning site this Summer and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children during their holiday activities. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe aquatic environment and providing assistance when needed.
Duties:
– Supervise swimmers and ensure their safety at all times.
– Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
– Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
– Provide first aid and CPR when necessary.
– Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool area.
– Assist in the planning and implementation of water-based activities.
Skills:
– Possess current First Aid certification.
– Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
– Ability to manage compliance with safety regulations.
– Proactive attitude towards ensuring the well-being of all individuals in the aquatic environment.
