Sea Scape Properties is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pool and Spa Technician to maintain, inspect, and service pools, spas, and related equipment across our managed properties. This role is responsible for ensuring that all pool and spa areas are clean, safe, properly balanced, and guest-ready at all times.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with pool and spa maintenance, basic equipment troubleshooting, chemical testing, and preventative maintenance. This position requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently while representing Sea Scape Properties professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain pools, spas, decks, filters, pumps, skimmers, drains, and related equipment.
- Test and balance pool and spa water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and stabilizer levels.
- Safely handle, store, and apply pool chemicals in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Inspect pool and spa equipment for proper operation, leaks, wear, damage, or safety concerns.
- Perform routine maintenance on pumps, heaters, filters, valves, timers, salt systems, and other pool/spa components.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and water-quality issues and report larger repair needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical readings, services performed, supplies used, and repairs needed.
- Ensure pool and spa areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest readiness.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests involving pools, spas, or related amenities.
- Communicate professionally with property managers, maintenance team members, vendors, owners, and guests when needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable health regulations.
- Maintain assigned tools, vehicles, equipment, and inventory in clean and working condition.
- Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous pool and spa maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of pool water chemistry, filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and basic plumbing preferred.
- Ability to safely handle pool chemicals and follow safety procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service locations or work orders.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- CPO certification is preferred but not required.
Schedule
This is a full time position and that requires at least one weekend day per week.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
