Salary: £12.71 p/h during 3 month probation period, reviewed upon successful completion
Contract Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
Working Hours: 40 Hours per week (full time) / 20 Hours per week (part time)
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assembly Operative to join our growing manufacturing team. You will be responsible for assembling high-quality components in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all products meet our strict quality standards. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a collaborative team focused on efficiency and precision.
Key Responsibilities
· Assembly: Accurately assemble products using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
· Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and functional testing to identify defects early in the production line.
· Efficiency: Work to achieve daily production targets and quotas while maintaining high standards.
· Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organised workspace (5S standards) and strictly adhere to all Health & Safety protocols.
About You
· Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or factory environment is preferred but not always essential.
· Skills: Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
· Attitude: A positive, team-focused approach with high levels of punctuality and reliability.
· Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks.
· Communication: Good verbal and written English skills to follow instructions and document work.
