Production Supervisor – Dental Manufacturing
38-hour working week over four days (Monday to Thursday 7.30am-5.30pm)
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations and lead our production team within a busy dental manufacturing environment at Associated Dental Products Ltd, a family-run business, based in Purton, Swindon.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a British manufacturer and developer of high-quality consumable dental products, with a global customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production activities to ensure customer requirements and business objectives are met.
- Create and issue production work orders.
- Organise and allocate resources to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the production team on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor production performance, quality standards, and output targets.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workloads and utilise staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
- Experience with production scheduling and work order systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of quality standards and continuous improvement practices is advantageous.
- Currently located within commutable distance or willing to relocate
- Own transport/driving licence is desirable
