Lloyd Catering Equipment is a well-established, family-owned business with almost 70 years’ experience in the design, supply and installation of commercial kitchens. In September we will be celebrating our 70th year in business, a milestone that reflects our reputation for quality, reliability and long-term client relationships.
We work with some of the UK and Ireland’s most recognised restaurant, hospitality and hotel brands, delivering high-quality commercial kitchen refurbishment and build projects across the UK mainland and Ireland.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager with Industry experience to join our Projects team.
The Role
This is a hands-on Project Management role with real ownership and accountability. You will manage commercial kitchen refurbishment and build projects from contract award through to installation and final handover.
Reporting to the Projects Director, you will take responsibility for your own portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to client expectations, while coordinating multiple stakeholders both on site and internally.
This role suits a well-organised problem solver who is comfortable working in fast-paced catering and hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage catering and hospitality refurbishment projects from start to completion
● Oversee on-site commercial kitchen installations
● Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
● Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
● Manage project programmes, budgets and cost control
● Identify and resolve issues proactively as projects progress
● Attend site visits and project meetings across the UK
● Ensure projects are delivered safely, professionally and to specification
What We’re Looking For
Essential experience and skills:
● Minimum 3 years’ Project Management experience
● Proven background in commercial kitchens, catering equipment, hospitality fit-out or refurbishment projects, Industry Experience as a project Manager would be strongly preferred.
● Strong stakeholder and client management skills
● Excellent organisation and problem-solving ability
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Full UK driving licence
● Strong written and spoken English
Desirable:
● Experience working in live hospitality environments
● Background in catering equipment, construction or specialist fit-out
Location & Working Pattern
● Hybrid working
● Head office based in Rotherham (near J34, M1 / Meadowhall)
● If not local, weekly update meetings via video conference
● UK-wide travel to project sites as required
