This position is ideal for someone with framing, construction, remodeling, and general building experience who is ready to take on additional responsibility while remaining actively involved in the work.
Position Summary
The Project Supervisor / Skilled Construction Laborer will assist with residential and light commercial construction projects, oversee daily jobsite activities, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and perform hands-on construction work as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and oversee small residential construction projects
- Perform framing, carpentry, demolition, and general construction tasks
- Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and vendors
- Monitor job progress and maintain project schedules
- Ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
- Conduct quality control inspections
- Communicate project updates to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Identify and resolve jobsite issues before they become larger problems
- Assist with material takeoffs, deliveries, and inventory management
- Document project progress with photos and daily reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience preferred
- Framing and carpentry experience required
- Ability to read plans and construction drawings preferred
- Experience leading crews or supervising projects is a plus
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Experience
- Residential home construction
- Remodeling projects
- Concrete, framing, siding, or finish carpentry
- Equipment operation
- HVAC or plumbing experience (not required but beneficial)

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime as needed
Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour
