Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Manager
Full time office-based visiting QS role providing Commercial support across small to medium sized projects from £250k- £4m.
Due to exceptional growth, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious QS looking to further their career at a thriving Norwich based Main Contractor specialising in a fantastic variety of both new build and refurbishment projects.

Duties to include:
– Support site teams with regular visits to monitor progress and submit monthly Valuations.
– Produce Procurement Schedule and secure trades to suit key dates at best value.
– Prompt identification and costing of Variations, plus maintain overall project forecast Final Account budgets to guide client expectations.
– Process Subcontractor Applications and assist Accounts department with verification of Supplier invoices in a timely manner.
– Monthly Cost-Value Reconciliation and Reports, plus assistance with cashflow forecasting.
– Maintain relationships with clients to compliment excellent current levels of repeat business.
Skills & Experience required:
– Minimum 3 to 5 years QS experience within the Building Industry.
– Full Driving Licence (plus candidate will be paid to maintain own vehicle).
– Attention to detail and with an excellent working knowledge of Excel.
– Understanding and experience of implementing JCT Contract terms.
– Working as a key member of the Construction team, with the ability to organise workload across multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Salary from £45,000 – £55,000 plus Package and bonus, with regular review and the opportunity for further progression.
