TEMPORARY (Maternity Cover)

Full-time, 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, professional, and personable individual to join our London office as a Receptionist, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as a Legal Assistant / Paralegal during a period of maternity cover.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within a highly regarded legal environment and develop valuable administrative and legal support skills.

Please note this is a temporary role for the duration of maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service for clients and visitors
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries efficiently
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post, including opening, distributing, and coordinating couriers
  • Maintaining office supplies and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office
  • Providing administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and document management
  • Assisting legal staff with delegated tasks, including preparation of documents and general legal support

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • GCSE Maths and English (grade 4/C or above) required

Candidate Profile

This role will suit an organised and proactive individual with a strong attention to detail and a professional approach. You should be confident communicating with clients and colleagues and able to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment.

Previous reception or administrative experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
