Registered Manager – Children’s Home Jobs in Newcastle upon Tyne at Hartwell Care Ltd

We are currently supporting a children’s residential care provider who’s are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee the running of a 4 bed children’s home in Newcastle.

The role involves supporting children presenting with EBD and challenging behaviours.

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + bonus scheme.

Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week including flexible working from home.

Applicants should have experience within children’s residential care management and ideally hold or be working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.

A full UK driving license is also required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the children’s home.
  • Ensuring the service meets Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
  • Leading, supporting and developing the staff team.
  • Overseeing care planning to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.
  • Managing staffing levels, rotas and recruitment within the home.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
  • Preparing for inspections and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Promoting a positive, safe and nurturing environment for children.
