Aspire People is looking for a reflective and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in South West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide students in exploring world religions, ethical issues, and philosophical thinking across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver thoughtful and inclusive RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage open‑mind discussions on moral, spiritual, and cultural topics.
- Promote critical thinking and respect for diverse beliefs and values.
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Contribute to whole‑school events, assemblies, and enrichment activities related to ethics and social responsibility.
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
- Experience teaching RE at KS3 & KS4.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
