Residential Support Worker
Location: DY9 9PB
Pay: 14.00 – 15.00 per hour
Shift Patterns:
- Days: 7:00am – 9:00pm
- Waking Nights: 9:00pm – 7:00am
- Weekends required
We are recruiting experienced Residential Support Workers to support children and young people within a therapeutic residential setting.
Please note: A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is ESSENTIAL. Candidates without this qualification will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Support children and young people in a residential home.
- Promote positive outcomes and independence.
- Follow care plans and behaviour support plans.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Safeguard children at all times.
- Work effectively as part of the care team.
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Children’s Residential Home.
- Enhanced DBS with Children’s and Adults’ Barred List.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Overseas Police Checks where applicable.
- Flexible to work day and waking night shifts.
