About the Role

We are seeking a Revit Technician (MEP) to join our growing team.

This role is suited to someone with 1-4 years’ experience who is looking to develop their technical and digital engineering capability within a collaborative consultancy environment.

Salaries will be tailored to suit experience, and we are open to more experienced candidates.

You will support the production and coordination of MEP Revit models and AutoCAD drawings across a range of live projects, assisting in the delivery of accurate, well-coordinated and buildable design information. You will work closely with engineers and senior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of MEP Revit models and AutoCAD drawings in line with project requirements
  • Support the preparation of concept, planning, tender and construction drawing packages
  • Develop layouts for mechanical, electrical and public health systems under guidance from engineers
  • Coordinate MEP information with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Revit templates, BIM standards, and drawing protocols
  • Ensure accuracy, quality and consistency across project deliverables
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines and programme milestones
  • Attend coordination meetings and occasional site visits as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a building services or engineering consultancy environment
  • HNC / HND (or working towards) in Building Services, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Revit for MEP modelling and drawing production
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing production and detailing
  • Awareness of UK building services design and construction processes
  • Understanding of BIM principles (exposure to BS EN ISO 19650 / UK BIM frameworks desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Experience working on coordinated BIM projects within an MEP consultancy environment

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Exposure to clash detection / coordination tools (e.g. Navisworks)
  • Experience contributing to or helping develop company standards, templates or workflows
