An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to work as part of the MSK Service assessing and treating patients referred to Physiotherapy in the Hambleton and Richmondshire area. Clinically you may work in the Physiotherapy Department at the Friarage Hospital Northallerton, Friary Hospital in Richmond or one of our satellite GP venues.
The service receives referrals from many sources including Consultants and GPs and operates from a number of different venues.
Applications are invited from Physiotherapists who have post graduate experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy as well as an interest and enthusiasm in this field. The team is friendly and supportive and senior specialists offer clinical supervision and support.
Successful applicants will treat patients referred to the Physiotherapy Service in the Trust and there are opportunities for case discussions and an In-Service Training Programme. Staff are also supported in their continuous professional development through clinical supervision. Participation in audit and research is encouraged.
To provide an effective and efficient clinical service to patients referred with musculoskeletal conditions or injuries within the framework of clinical governance.
To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme to patients .
To hold responsibility for own case load and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision.
