Our team is looking for a SMT Operator. This position’s primary focus is providing resource support to the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

  • Perform SMT setup/loading/unloading per specifications
  • Conformance on process requirements to meet product specifications
  • Participate in pertinent projects as required by supervision
  • Adherence to company requirements to ensure safety in the process and to protect product quality and integrity
  • Operate all SMT machines/equipment to produce high quality products

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 yr college is preferred (but not required)
  • Basic TH/SMT knowledge
  • Flexibility to change priorities as required by operations
  • Team worker

Color vision – ability to identify and distinguish colors.

Peripheral vision – ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down and/or left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point.

Ability to adjust focus – adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
