We are partnering with a long standing Key Client who are seeking a highly motivated Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a diverse portfolio of products and solutions, including:
- Physical Security Solutions
- CCTV & Video Surveillance
- Access Control Systems
- Fire Detection & Life Safety Solutions
- Intruder & Alarm Systems
- Security Infrastructure & Related Technologies
Based in either London or Dublin, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, global suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive procurement excellence, optimise supplier performance, and deliver substantial cost savings across the business.
The Role
As Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that support business growth while ensuring the highest levels of quality, service, and commercial competitiveness. You will take ownership of supplier negotiations, category management activities, and procurement transformation initiatives, delivering measurable value through strategic supplier partnerships and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from planning and supplier engagement through to evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies across key security technology product categories, including CCTV, access control, fire detection, and physical security solutions.
- Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, manufacturers, and industry partners.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging technologies, supplier capabilities, and commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with business leaders and operational teams to align procurement strategies with organisational objectives.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts to achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the procurement process.
- Develop and track key procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, quality, reliability, and working capital improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, sourcing, and supply chain operations.
About You
You will be a commercially driven sourcing professional with a proven track record of delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Significant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management.
- Proven ability to deliver cost savings and procurement transformation initiatives.
- Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and commercial contracts.
- Strong understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and financial analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems, procurement technologies, and e-sourcing platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
