We’re on the hunt for a SOUS CHEF to join our team at The Pudding Pantry: Nottingham
We’re looking for a chef who is passionate, has a hard work ethic, and is up for a challenge!
Hourly with a minimum contract of 35 hours up to a maximum of 45 hours.
£13.70 + Tronc + Cash tips
Tronc average £0.63ph to £0.89ph for this position in the last 3 months.

- We’re passionate about fresh ingredients and we make everything from scratch; baked beans, marshmallows, cakes, brownies, all sauces etc – we have fabulous chefs that use their skills everyday. No opening packets and reheating mass produced food here!

This is a FULL-TIME position, the following is required:
Experience required
- 2 years kitchen management experience – essential
- Excellence in hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Level 2 food safety – desirable
- Must be available weekends (flexibility possible, but limited)
General skills
- Assisting the head chef with team training and on shift coaching
- Be consistent and work by company standards
- Ensuring kitchen paperwork and schedules are understood and adhered to
- Supporting the kitchen manager with the day to day running of the kitchen
- Assist in training new team members
Basics required
- Good knowledge of all sections
- Ability to produce good quality food
- High level of attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for the role
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work
- Positive and approachable manner
