McManus Pub Company is a family owned business with 18 pubs and we have been operating successfully in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex for over 50 years.
The Montagu Arms is a quintessential village pub, positioned as a premium local, food led but affordable and holds community at its heart.
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef with the following attributes:
- Knowledge of managing and developing a strong kitchen team
- Lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence
- Passion for cooking great pub food
- Ability to effectively control food and labour cost
- Good knowledge of food preparation, stock rotation and all health & safety procedures
- Focused on and ownership of kitchen standards
