We are looking for confident and dedicated Youth support workers who enjoy the challenges of children / young people.

It can be both frustrating and rewarding as changing lives and shaping futures is a long term undertaking.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Elliot Leigh Supported Living, we provide 24/7 supported accommodation for young people aged 16–17 who are in care. This is not a 9-to-5 job — it is round-the-clock, relationship-centred support that makes a real difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in our communities.

As a Support Worker, you will be the consistent, trusted adult presence in a young person’s life. Whether it’s helping them build cooking and budgeting skills, supporting them through emotional challenges, or simply being there at 2am when they need someone — you will be the person they rely on.

We won’t pretend it’s easy. Building trust with young people who have experienced disruption takes patience, resilience, and a genuine belief in their ability to thrive. But few roles offer the reward of watching a young person grow into themselves because of your support.
