Full Time/40hrs per week

We are looking for genuine, caring, and enthusiastic individuals to work with people with complex Autism & Learning Disabilities.

Autism at Kingwood is a specialist support provider of services for people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health issues. We support adults to develop new skills and live independently at home and in the community. The work can be challenging, but the rewards make every day meaningful.

Ideally you will have previous experience but if you have the correct values an interest in supporting people to achieve their goals, and most importantly the enthusiasm and motivation to learn we would love to hear from you.

The Service

Autism at Kingwood has recently opened a brand new bespoke service. This is in our newly refurbished building. It has been designed with the needs of autistic people at its heart.

The service will soon have 10 young people who have complex autism and therefore need supported living.

You will play a key part in developing the service, to do this you will be fully trained and supported.

This will be a challenging but rewarding role, you will spend your day focused on supporting people, this may be in their home or going out to various activities which could include, walking, swimming, shopping, disco, music venues, gardening, cooking …… your imagination is the only limitations!

We will also require staff who are willing to drive, usually a mobility vehicle.
