Pointe Shoe Maker – Full Training Provided
Location: Earl Shilton, Leicestershire (LE9 7HS)
Hours: 39 hours per week (permanent)
Pay: National Minimum/Living Wage (21+), with the opportunity to gain a higher earning potential through our piece rate system once exceeding set target numbers.

What You’ll Do
With full training, you’ll work towards producing over 200 pairs of handmade pointe shoes each week, learning every stage of the process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Learning and applying each step of the shoe-making process
- Working at your own workstation, using traditional methods
- Using hand tools such as hammers, scissors, brushes, and knives
- Handling tacks, adhesives, and shoe lasts (foot forms)
- Reading and following order tickets accurately
- Meeting quality and production targets in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent manual/practical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in using hand tools (not essential, but it helps!)
- Good organisational ability
- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
(includes 30-minute lunch + two 10-minute breaks)
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
(includes one 10-minute break)
