Isleworth based flooring wholesaler is looking for a new member to join their team.
You would be part of a small, versatile crew and would be required to work in different areas of the warehouse, performing a variety of tasks, so no day will be a dull day.
The position is full time and permanent.
This position includes a requirement to work two Saturdays out of every four, on a rotating basis.
Usual working hours are 07:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday and 07:00 – 14:00 when working on Saturday.
The job can be fairly physical, so you have to be reasonably fit.
Van driving experience and/or reach truck forklift licence would constitute advantages for prospective applicants.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Load and unload a variety of flooring related items into and from vehicles
- Prepare orders for customers and help load them into their vehicle
- Maintain the warehouse clean and tidy
- Assist customers and colleagues
- Use or learn to use reach truck forklifts
- Occasionally go out for deliveries in a long wheelbase van
To qualify for the job, you need to have:
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good accuracy and organisational skills
- Good work ethic and be reliable
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
