Warehouse Operative Jobs in Rochdale at Edmund Bell & Company Ltd
Our busy Rochdale Warehouse has a vacancy for an experienced Warehouse Operative.
This role involves heavy lifting of large rolls of fabric, unloading and loading of wagons and is a varied role.
Key responsibilities
- To pick orders and despatch on a daily basis
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Support stock management activities using warehouse management systems.
- Scanning & labelling of product
Capabilities:
Good standard of understanding of computers
- Competent with barcode scanners
- FLT license essential, knowledge of pump trucks would be beneficial
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Capable of manual work – This is a physically demanding job involving moving heavy materials
- Demonstrate reliability and time keeping skills
Working Hours:
Working hours will be 8:30 – 5pm Monday to Friday.
Occasional opportunities for overtime.
