Job Overview
Join our dynamic award-winning manufacturing team as a Web Press Helper, where your energy and attention to detail will contribute to producing high-quality printed materials. In this entry level role, you will assist with the setup, operation, delivery, and maintenance of a web press — a large-scale printing machine that produces continuous rolls of printed products. Your proactive approach will help ensure smooth production workflows, uphold quality standards, and support the overall efficiency of our printing operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and preparation of a web press, including make-readies and press equipment operations
- Responsible for end of press operations and delivery ensuring that the printed pieces are ready for the final finishing process
- Support the operator in monitoring press performance during production runs to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with printing technology a plus but not required. Training is provided.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus for material handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety procedures
This position is for 1st shift; 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday – Friday.
