We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and highly motivated Clinical Support Workers with a student nursing background to join our teams across a variety of wards and services at both Homerton Healthcare and our Community Sites.
Responsibilities
- Observations and recording vital signs
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Assisting with nutrition and hydration
- Supporting patient mobility and comfort
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Understanding of basic clinical care and ward environments
- Assisting patients with hygiene needs, toileting, and nutritional intake
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Using own initiative and working within a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
Applicants should already possess core Clinical Support Worker skills and be able to confidently deliver direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses. They must have completed nursing placements and gained hands‑on clinical experience during their training. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work using one’s own initiative.
