Hours: 02:00 – 10:30, Monday to Friday
About Us: We run a time critical and high-speed warehouse and distribution operation where the real magic happens while the rest of the world is asleep. We are looking for a reliable, sharp, and physically active Night/AM Yard Foreperson to own our AM loading operation.
The Role: Are you a night owl who loves running a physical operation? Starting at 02:00 AM, you will take full control of our warehouse and loading operation. As the massive network linehaul trunks arrive from the national hubs, you and your forklift team will tip, scan, and sort the freight. You will follow the night routing plan to ensure every single pallet is staged in the correct delivery bay so that when our local delivery drivers arrive in the morning their freight is lined up and ready to load. You’ll wrap up your shift by executing a smooth handover to the daytime operations team at 10:30.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the 02:00 AM site opening and lead the night tipping and scanning operations.
- Organise the warehouse floor, staging freight accurately by delivery route.
- Ensure inbound trailers are turned around, safely cleared, and parked up for the afternoon by 10:00 AM.
- Supervise yard safety, forklift compliance, and loading accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in a pallet network or high-volume cross-dock environment.
- A natural leader who thrives on independent night shifts.
- Forklift experience (Counterbalance) is essential.
- A reliable keyholder who takes pride in punctuation and accuracy.
