Role: Bookkeeper
Working Pattern: Office based: Monday – Friday 9AM – 5PM, 1 hour lunch
What the Client is Looking For:
- A confident and experienced bookkeeper, with a working knowledge of VAT
- Experience in both Sales and Purchase ledger
- Can vary between working independently or in a team
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Good communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Monthly and Quarterly royalty reporting from both Google sheets and Xero.
- Raising Sales and Purchase ledger invoices for the Royalties.
- Credit card reconciliations for company cards
- Employee expenses
- Bank reconciliations on multiple currencies
- Reconciling sales and balance sheet control accounts
- Sales ledger and credit control
- Validating and processing of supplier invoices
- Maintaining the purchase ledger and processing supplier payment runs
- Assist Senior Bookkeeper and Finance Officer with ad hoc duties.
Personality Fit:
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Strong team player and confident communicator.
- Well organised and methodical both in how records are maintained and approach to tasks.
Requirements:
- Xero, or similar accounting software, Excel and Microsoft office.
- Experience with shipping documents and terms desirable but not essential
Salary & Benefits:

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
