The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance works within occupied council and social housing properties. Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance works in residential council properties. Diagnose and repair faults relating to water systems, pipework, sanitary ware, taps, toilets, baths, showers, and heating-related plumbing. Attend emergency call-outs and urgent repair requests when required. Complete work orders efficiently and accurately within agreed service levels. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures. Maintain accurate records of completed works, materials used, and any follow-up actions required. Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with tenants, residents, and client representatives. Work collaboratively with schedulers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure repairs are completed effectively. Requirements Proven experience as a Plumber within domestic maintenance, repairs, or social housing environments. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. Good communication and customer service skills. Full UK Driving Licence.
