Residential Maintenance Mechanic Jobs in Greenwood, SC at Greenwood Housing Authority
The Greenwood Housing Authority (GHA) provides housing for low income families in Greenwood ,SC and is currently accepting applications for a residential apartment maintenance person. The minimum requirements for this job are:
- The ability to be bonded, pass a SLED/FBI criminal background check, pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have a valid SC driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Applicant must have a good knowledge of general apartment/residential unit maintenance, including proven and verifiable skills in at least one of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical and/or HVAC.
- HVAC experience with a current refrigerant recovery certification is desirable but not required.
- Applicant must be able to promptly respond to emergency calls on nights and weekends when on-call.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly, bend, stoop, crawl, and reach.
- This position is under the South Carolina State health and pension programs.
- A Greenwood Housing Authority application will be required for consideration. Applications can be picked up at the Administrative Office at 315 Foundry Road, Greenwood.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,520.00 – $44,720.00 per year
